Its for the individual so there will be no stacking bonuses. Also it will last only a short while so I dont anyone will use it to effect in an XP party.

Finally, since the XP is capped in FF there is no high level content that you could xp on that would raise the xp modified. Before any chains the most a mob can give is 240 xp. So 5% will only be 252.

That's an interesting one to balance. FFXI boards will very soon fill up with math as players calculate how much slower they kill x with y, gaining an experience bonus of z. It presumably will not take all that long before someone figures out how to kill high level content with the baby +xp weapons, which will be fun.

5% is actually quite a bit, to me. The only reason that wouldn't be noticable would be if the monster gave less than 20xp. Otherwise, that's a pretty big boost. I assume that was just an arbitrary number for an example.

Other interesting thought: does it add all or take the highest? A high level group with full +xp equipment could presumably milk a lot of xp out of a monster.

You would use a item that would give you say a +5% to exp gained. It wouldnt look like alot for each kill but would make a large difference over time.

"The bonus points provided by these new additions may not be noticeable at first, but taking advantage of the bonus every day will eventually make a substantial difference."

Can you tell me how this works? It seems a bit confusing to me.
