In December of last year, they sent me some screenshots and an announcement that the beta would be beginning in early 2005, but if it did, they forgot to send me the announcement. It'll take some *new ideas* to generate some buzz and customer $$$. The "next big thing" is going to have to be a really good game in order to become "the next big thing". I do hope WoW hasn't chased all the other games out of the genre. I used to think WoW's success was a great thing for MMOs in general, but now I'm not so sure...
