"A gamer’s spouse must put up with many things, but doubts about fidelity are not amongst them. Unless she, too, is a gamer and thinks he is spending a bit too much time with that other guild…"

That line rocks, because I tell my wife that all the time, "Hey at least I'm not at the bar pickin up chicks"... ahah & so far she has no worries of me meeting up w/ some Cyber-babe, because she knows we will probably win the lotto before I find some Interweeb-Hotty :)

Absolutely none.

You can do that already. Everyone auto-Exemplars down the the appropriate level for each PvP zone, so you already see level 50s PvPing when they want to. Being able to use those last 4 powers is not going to make PvP much more exciting, although new content in Recluse's Victory might (pilot the Mega Mek Man? Why yes I do!).

For heroes, a 40-50 PvP game is actually less attractive than the current setup, because heroes have an advantage. They have more slots and access to Hami-Os, fighting against villains who do not have fully slotted powers, and in the lower-level zones maybe against ones not even using SOs.

The effect has already taken place: people shifting to the villains side, taking away level 50s. Because of global chat, however, many people will log off their villains to join the Hami raid, then head back over.

What impact do you think the new PvP zone Issue 7 is introducing will have on CoH players who are doing the Hamidon raid over and over?

From the I7 descriptions I've seen it sounds like a PvP endgame, and if 100 people can get together to fight a jello monster, why not get together to beat up some villains? Gathering large numbers of heroes together sounds like it would overcome the main PvP problem, that is, going it alone or without enough teammates.
