You can make death star POS’s :) Basically its a space tower with tons of sentry guns around it. Various gun types (missle launchers too!) can be setup to basically destroy anything smaller than a Dreadnaught sized ship :) They can wipe out entire fleets actually. They are stationary though and easily avoidable.

You’ve summed up pretty well the strength of EVE over other MMOs out there. Reminds me of why I’m still playing after almost two years, and why I just paid for another 12 months subscription.
