Heroes is a really good show, and I’m not just saying that because I’m the huge nerd who blogs about City of Heroes here.
The surprise hit of the show is Masi Oka, Hiro on the show. In-character blogging is here. It’s not terribly cool, but Hiro is obviously one of our people.

I love the show also! I wasn’t all that impressed after episode 1, episode 2 was a little better, episode 3 was good and 4 and 5 were awesome. Hiro is also my favourite character.
I think it is the combination of zany Japanese guy with the easily best power. I don’t think it would really work if he weren’t Japanese though. Where it is now a Japanese guy borrowing from western sci-fi for his guidance, if it was a western guy I would just think he was an uber-nerd.
