I was getting ready to take another forced break from all monthly-fee games and spend more time doing other things, like watching Battlestar Gallactica on DVD, when I opened my email to find another beta invitation. I’m interested in the development of this one, so I guess I’ll have nothing to say here for a while. I’ll continue playing Guild Wars, even when it tells me I’ve played for 2 hours and should take a break. I love that.

Respecting NDAs is how I feel confident in getting asked to beta test every MMO that I want to test. So far so good. Well, one did get by - I missed out on EQ2.
For some of the games I have beta-tested, I have respected the NDAs so strictly that I still refuse to mention the games. There might be other reasons that I find those games unmentionable…

It better not be a beta invite for a MMO based on the well-known works of Prof. Tolkien, or there’s gonna be blood, seeing as how I haven’t received one yet. ;)
