Ever since <i>World War Z</i>, I can't stop evaluating structures and properties for survivability in the event of a zombie apocalypse. I live on a gorgeous horse ranch in the Cascade mountain foothills, but it'll be totally indefensible against a horde of zombies; huge plate glass windows looking out at the pastures and the mountains. Also, the core lesson of L4D is, 'Be immune to the plague that turns people into zombie maniacs.' Well, that and 'Don't startle the witch'. Eh.
