Imagine the two-year-old thrashing and kicking in the high chair with his despairing mother trying to act as though nothing's happening. At least the toddler only broke one dish, what with the reduced damage, so the Curse of the Sad Mummy didn't last quite as long as usual. Sign me up for vague patch notes, though. The less I know about how things really work, the more fun it is trying to work it out. Those extracts made me smile.

"We've changed a thing in that one area with the people. You'll know it when you see it" "Orc blades in location X are now sharper" "Minstrels are useless again, working as intended. See skills for details." etc etc etc. I think they were just trying to be funny or cute but patch notes isn't the time and place, imo. That always got to me with LotRO patch notes.

The more detail the better, and knowing the WHY behind something is also very important (and I think helps to stem some of the nerfbat rage).
