An ode to the random stranger picker-upper tool

It was a triumph.
I’m making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS.
It’s hard to overstate my satisfaction.
I pugged an instance.
I went as a tank
because I could.
After four years as a ‘lock.
But then the paladin left.
Now there’s no sense crying over every mistake
You just keep on trying till you run out of rage
And the killing gets done
And I’ll finish the run
With the people who stick by my side.

It was my first time.
I really didn’t have a clue.
I’m surprised the druid stuck around
And healed me.
And was quite patient.
And rezzed me every time I died
And didn’t even say a word
When I stood in the fire.
Now a full rage bar
makes a beautiful line
We’ve got pretty far
And I’m doing just fine.
So I’m glad I got spurned
Think of all the things I learned
With the people who stuck by my side.

Go ahead and leave me.
The others don’t really seem to mind.
Perhaps you’ll find another tank to help you.
Maybe a Death Knight
THAT WAS A JOKE
HAHA. FAT CHANCE.
Anyway, this run’s gone great
And we’re at the last boss.
Look at me still talking
when there’s Tanking to do.
I won’t run out of mana – makes me glad I’m not you.
I’ve got instances to run
There are epics to be won
With the people who stuck by my side
And believe me we’re all still alive
I’m doing Tanking and kept them alive
I feel FANTASTIC and we didn’t wipe
While you’re silenced I’ll still be alright
And when you’ve died I will be still alive
Still alive

  1. That was hilarious. I hope someone can somehow record it with the original voice. Thanks for the good time.

  2. I figured it wasn’t a dig at DKs so much as a dig at the guy who’s heading back into the queue to find another tank (of all things).
