Congrats! I had the same feeling of freedom a while ago, and so far kept away from MMOs. I played a free week of WoW, and then resisted resubscribing.

I have enough time now to play other games, catch up on my (much neglected) reading, and a do a ton of other things I was neglecting due not letting go of the same time(life)-consuming game for months and months.

MTV just did a True Life about video game addicted people (although both of them where FPS players, and we know ALL about THOSE people), and the overall message was you can still play 8hr+ a day and get good grades or continue a relationship with your (pushover) significant other. MTV is never wrong, so you should be ok Zubon.

Ha ha, you have to leave a comment to put words in my mouth that I never said, while I can just edit your comments directly to make you say that you frolic with farm animals. ;)

If you’re going to exaggerate, why not go back to the ancient authors who believed that literacy would be the downfall of society because people would no longer memorize everything? It’s great fun to pull that out when people complain about Google and modern information literacy.
