Guild Wars – One More Time For Fun

gw[Guild Wars] In my neverending quest to find something fun to do in my spare time, I have joined up with two fellow bloggers to create a new guild in Guild Wars. Hopefully we can be stupid and have fun and not become slaves to the grind.

The guild we started is called: Bold Legion of Geeks [BLOG]. My character is “Brother Ethic”. We are starting out fresh and are looking to have fun. If you want to join, find us or leave a comment here. It costs 100 gold to invite each person (is there a limit?) and my funds are somewhat limited so please be patient.

For now this is the original Guild Wars, not Factions. Perhaps we will expand into Factions if we are having too much fun (I do own it and it already). If you already play and are rich and want to donate to the “buy BLOG a hall fund”, feel free. Otherwise, say hello next time you see one of us. Or join us! One of us! One of us!

I own this little MMO gaming blog but I hardly ever write on it any more. I'm more of a bloglord or something. Thankfully I have several minions to keep things rolling along.

  1. I used to love Guild Wars so if I can find the time to tear myself away from WoW I’ll be happy to join up!

  2. I’ve got a guild, but I’ll add you to my Friends list. I split my time between near-end PvE of Prophecies, and trying to progress in Factions. I have a Lvl 20 Necro/Mesmer and a Lvl 15 Ranger/Ele in Prophecies.

I’m trying to get my guild to become serious about saving money for a Guild Hall, but they’re either out of commission for whatever reason (no internet access, travel) or they’re not active. I feel like I’m the only semi-serious member, and I don’t even play that often! I wish my guild was bigger. :(

  3. P.S. — Interested in forming an Alliance? Alliance Chat is useful for forming questing parties if you don’t want to group with PUGs. :D

  4. Regarding an Alliance, not sure yet. Let’s wait and see if this takes off first.

  5. Definatly no grinding. This is gonna be a recreational thing……you know like a game or something, not like my second job which I call EvE-Online :D

  6. I might be interested but I currently do not GW installed on this PC nor do I have access to my disc.

  7. If you go to the GW official website, you can download the GW client. Install the client, login with your email and password, and it’ll download the game to you PC so you don’t need your game discs.
