  1. “Do we have an ETA?”

    When its done :P

Seriously though BioWare (like Blizzard..usually) tends to make very very sure their products (see KOTOR 1, Jade Empire, Dragon Age for recent exapmles)are actually ready to go so it may still be quite a ways off.

I do wonder how exactly they will prevent a flood of Jedi and no other classes at launch because you know damn well 90 percent of the initial groups of people will roll Jedi/Sith the first day of release (much like the upcoming Death Knights) if they are availsble right at launch

  2. Having just typed that I just remembered how much I’d like to see a sequel to Jade Empire.

  3. Bah! Am I the only one who was secretly hoping it was going to be some sort of Baldur’s Gate MMO?

I loved SWG, but I’m not sure I want to go there again. Yet oddly my appetite for Tolkienesque high fantasy knows no bounds.

  4. You’re not the only one longing for a BG MMO Arkenor. That’s the only thing I would have liked to see announced more than this.

The announcement didn’t do much for me since they haven’t mentioned squat about the classes, combat system or leveling. They do say that it’s going to have a really nice story element. Whoopee.

Still no matter what they release about it, I’m sure we’re all going to try it ASAP anyway so *shrug*

  5. I got so badly burned by SWG. So badly.

    And I don’t care! SW:TOR 4evah! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!

I am a wretched, wretched man.

  6. I am looking forward to this; I need a reason to believe in the Star Wars IP again. That said, even though I have nothing but optimism and confidence in regards to the wondrous gaming experience that Bioware will surely provide,I’ve got to admit that I was a bit underwhelmed by this “unveiling”. I guess I would have liked to see something more substantial. I understand that the cat was halfway out of the bag, and the people have been clamoring for teh infoes for over a year now, but when Bioware unveils their first MMO, I expect to be wowed (no pun intended). Of course, I will be following the development with bated breath. I joined the community under the name “Grish”. Let’s be friends!

  7. I jumped on it, of course. Imagine. A KOTOR where they don’t have to ship it and cut the ending short.
