M&M MMO

Read this news over at IGN. Microsoft and Marvel are teaming up to make a Superhero-based MMO for the XBOX 360. I’m not sure why I am posting this, because I honestly don’t care either way. I won’t be buying an XBOX for this or any other reason.

  1. How are they going to “use as many of the Marvel characters as they can”? Are they only going to let 300 people play at a time or somethig? The beauty of CoH is that you create your own character, whether it’s something original or a Marvel-esque or DC-like character. This Marvel MMO idea ironically seems like a CoH rip-off.

  3. Given the “use as many characters as we can” comment, I don’t think you’ll be able to actually PLAY any of the Marvel characters. They’ll be the NPCs that you encounter, making the game a lot less appealing, but “safer” for Marvel execs to approve.
