Sign up for the Guild Wars 2Â beta for only 48 hours! At this moment it seems the site has been slashdotted beyond the beyond. Still it seems the whole ArenaNet krewe was very excited to see this as the devs were watching possible beta testers slam the site (thanks, Mr. Fries!). Good luck to all! But if I noticed what the system check tool was saying, at a 37GB install, any beta event I get in (hopefully my crappy computer** will be something they’ll want to check against :P) will probably end before I finish downloading it. :) [assuming, of course, it doesn’t do the ol’ “download just a bit and then stream the rest while you play” – if it does, fun times :P]
** Athlon 64 X2 Regor @ 3.0GHz, 4GB 1066Mhz DDR3 RAM, and a Radeon HD5670, not that anyone asked :P
EDIT: Oops. It wasn’t saying a 37GB install (which wouldn’t’ve surprised me given SWTOR’s 30GB install), just that I had 37GB free on my main drive (60GB, but I’ve 460GB free on my second drive…). Still, hope they don’t hold it against me. :P
