[City of Heroes] I am the only married member of our supergroup online. As far as I know, the guys laughing on Teamspeak as they enjoy PvP have no significant others at all. I do not know which is the cause and which is the effect. At any rate, we do not have enough people together for the Tuesday Night Strike Force. Oh well.
Romance at my house: we are going to eat dessert and watch Serenity, with the comment track going this time! Ah, love!

[EVE Online] We had a corp mining operation the other day in a 0.0 system. It involved over 10 people, most in medium barges. We were after ice this time. We had a few combat ships with us, basically designed to tank any NPC rats nearby. They could repair faster than any damage was done, and the rats were too stupid to switch targets. We also had a couple of haulers to move the ice back to the station.
The operation lasted about 6 hours while I was only there for the first 2 hours. I think we hauled home close to 500 ice chips. Each chip takes up 1000 cubic meters of cargo space, that’s one big ice chip.
I snapped a few shots for your entertainment purposes. You can view them here: photo one, photo two, photo three, photo four and photo five.

[City of Heroes] Empathy is perhaps the most loved and hated power set in City of Heroes.
Most games have a healer class of some sort, usually paired with buffing and/or some small amount of damage. City of Heroes has Defenders, which has the most diverse primary power set of any archetype. Depending on your power set, you might be healer, buffer, debuffer, or combination. Empathy will be the most familiar.

[EVE Online] My corporation had planned a convoy of ships from our main staging area in Empire space down to one of our 0.0 stations. Just under 10 people signed up, with a few of them flying scout and protection. I had my industrial-class hauler, a Badger 2. It can hold about 10,000 cubic meters of cargo and she was plum full. Some of the cargo quite expensive and most of it not even mine. It was to be a long trip, all of it through 0.0 space. One of our convoy members was an alt of a corp member who was not yet in the corporation.

[EVE Online] Thought I’d share something I’ve been pondering over the last few weeks….
In EVE online, my “progression” came in different stages.
First 2 months: Mostly I was just getting to know the game…new shiny, new gameplay…new style…new (almost) everything. I wasnt sure on what I wanted to do… I had skills spread out in all directions, and I did missions and mined with a friend for the most part.
2-3 months later: I had decided I wanted to be a miner/industrialist. I had my skills queued up for a mining barge craft, which I would fly within a month, I stayed in the corporation’s system and harvested isk all day long, making around 10mill per day

[City of Villains] How often can you post, “I logged in and beat up some ogres with my friends last night. It was awesome Frequently, nothing particularly of note is happening in-game, or at least nothing that has not happened a hundred times before. We play, we have fun, we log and go to bed. There is some leveling and massive violence interspersed.
To me, this is usually a positive game experience, but it makes for dull blogging.

[EVE Online] I stopped by one of the agents I do odd jobs for last night to see if she had any work for me. She offered me a courier job that consisted of several parts. I was to deliver some cargo 5 systems away, where I would pick up some new cargo that needed to go another 5 systems away, but was in 0.4 space. 0.4 space is low security and you risk losing your ship/cargo/life just by entering. Add in the fact that we have an Empire war going on and a simple courier mission becomes a life or death situation.
I had 4 stations to visit in total, each with a drop-off and pick-up. One of the stations was low security, the rest were in Empire. My reward was to be 125,000 ISK and double that if I finished in 1 hour.

[EVE Online] I haven’t posted much about EVE Online recently due to the fact that I have been trying to relocate all my ships and equipment closer to our 0.0 station. It makes for a dull post, but it is the reality sometimes in EVE. Making a 30 jump trip in a industrial hauler filled with a few hundred ship equipment items. Then turn around and fly back in a shuttle to climb into my cruiser-class ship and make the trip again. B-O-R-I-N-G.
After my second return trip, I wanted to run some missions as I had not done any in a few weeks. All I had on hand was my Rifter, so I thought I’d try to find an agent handing out courier missions because I didn’t want to bother with any combat.

[EVE Online] The president of Huzzah Federation has been busy negotiating with the parties involved in the latest war down south. Let me refresh your memories so far: Stain- Alliance (SA) had been in a war against Firmus Ixion (FIX). The Huzzah Federation (HF) was helping SA in this war. My corporation, Ars Caelestis, is a part of HF.
Eventually, FIX surrendered and was presented with terms that they accepted. Something happened at this point to cause FIX to void the surrender and the alliance Band of Brothers (BoB) supported them in the decision. SA attacked BoB.
